The profession of accountant


The profession of public accountant is multidisciplinary. Indeed, it draws on knowledge from a wide range of fields, including accounting, taxation, legal, social, management and so on. The public accountant is the professional of the most titled figure . He ensures that all the rules to which his client companies are subjected are correctly applied and provide them with advice of all kinds. What qualifications are required to practice as a chartered accountant?
Only a diploma allows you to practice the profession of public accountant : it is the diploma of public accounting (DEC) . This doctorate is obtained after 8 years of studies; The "royal road" to becoming a chartered accountant  being to start his studies by the accounting and management degree ( DCG ), to pursue them with a higher degree of accounting and management ( DSCG ) and finally to finish them with the passage Of the  DEC . It is however possible to opt for other courses and in particular to pass through a BTS accounting management and / or a Master CSA, but in any case, the tests of each diploma must be passed in addition to those held.
